Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Bonsu has won the Tunisian Premier League with his Esperance de Tunis club.

The Tunisian giants have been exceptional in the 2019/2020 football league season which has been hampered by the Coronavirus pandemic.

In a Matchday 23 fixture today, Esperance de Tunis locked horns with SC Chebba at the Rades stadium behind closed doors as a result of the pandemic.

At the end of the 90 minutes, it all ended 1-1 with Algerian Abdelkader Bedrane scoring for Esperance de Tunis.

The draw has been enough to win the league title for Esperance even though there are 4 matches remaining to be played.

On the Matchday, Kwame Bonsu earned a starting role and managed to impress in the first half before he made way at the break.

The former Asante Kotoko midfield dynamo has become the 5th Ghanaian player to win the Tunisian league title with Esperance de Tunis.

He joins the likes of former Hearts of Lions striker Sadat Bukari, Moussa Narry, Harrison Afful, and Seidu Salifu.
