Ghanaian international Kwame Bonsu emerged as the hero for Esperance de Tunis on Wednesday as he scored the only goal in the team’s 1-0 win against Monastir in the Tunisian Premier League.

The budding midfielder joined the African giants from Ghana Premier League record-holders Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the summer transfer window on the back of an impressive season.

Having established himself as one of the team’s best players since joining the Esperance, he was today handed a starting role to help the side take on Monastir today.

Kwame Bonsu enjoyed a very good game and ended up netting a 20th-minute goal. That equalizer inspired Esperance to a narrow win at the end of the 90 minutes as they bagged an important 3 points.
