Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah will finally have his salary arrears settle by close of the month following the approval of 1.5 million dollars to the Youth and Sports Ministry.
The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has approved the amount to support sports development and promotion of sports in the country.
A first instalment of 750,000 dollars is to be released as soon as possible to facilitate the payment of coach Appiah and other pressing matters facing the Ministry.
The money has come at the right time and as you are aware we owe coach Appiah and his technical team and for us part of this money will be used to pay them," said Elvis Adjei Baah, spokesperson of the Sports Ministry
''No time-line can be giving to clear the arrears owned the technical team, it can be today or tomorrow but it will be soon.''
