Ghanaian pair Kwasi Wriedt and Leeroy Owusu picked up injuries in a preseason friendly agianst VVCS and are expected to be out for a few weeks.

Wriedt suffered a broken metatarsal bone in the game, effectively ruling him out for a while and Leeroy had a hamstring injury during the game.

Kwasi Wriedt was a player for German Champions Bayern Munich before making a permanent switch to Willem II. He mostly featured for the B team and barely got a chance in the first team. In the case of Leeroy, he joined his current side from De Graafschap.

Hopefully, the injuries will not keep them for extended periods as there were looking to make impacts in the team.
