Kwasi Okyere Wriedt delighted to end Bayern Munich stay on a high

Following the end to the season where Kwasi Okyere Wriedt has moved to Willem II, the striker has described his last season with Bayern Munich as a worthy conclusion.

The German-born Ghanaian forward joined the German Bundesliga outfit in 2017 from VfL Osnabrück.

Since his arrival at the Bavarian club, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt has played for the Bayern Munich II team in the German 3. Liga with cameo roles for the senior team as well.

This season, he has been at his best scoring for fun and establishing himself as the best player in the division.

At the end of a very good campaign, the attacker managed to score as many as 24 goals and provided 6 assists after making 33 appearances.

Having celebrated league triumph with the Bayern Munich II team, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt who is leaving the club says it has been a worthy conclusion to life with the giants of German football.

“It was tough and emotional in the stands. I kept shouting in. But I could accept that”, the striker has revealed.

He added, "It went extremely well," said Wriedt of the final phase of the season, "I wouldn't have dreamed of this end in the Corona break. It was a worthy end."

Kwasi Okyere Wriedt finished the season with the Player of the Season and top scorer of the season awards.

Next season, he will begin a new career at Dutch Eredivisie side Willem II.
