Kwesi Nyantakyi should be brought back to lead Ghana football reforms - Ntow Fianko tells NC

Former Division One League Chairman, Kwame Ntow Fianko is surprised at Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee over reliance on former FA Boss for advice to run the affairs of the Association.

During the week, defunct Executive Committee Member(ExCO) of the Ghana Football Association, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Parmer revealed in an interview that, the Normalization Committee seeks advice from Kwesi Nyantakyi who has been for life by FIFA from all football-related activities whom due to Anas expose on corruption in Ghana football.

Meanwhile, the Committee which is tasked to bring the game to normalcy and mandated to organise election for new executives of the FA calls on the former CAF first President for assistance.

Palmer’s stunning revelation has aroused astute Lawyer Kwame Ntow Fianko, saying the Normalization Committee lacks ideas to ensure their mandate is done to the betterment of the West African country.

Speaking to Otec FM in Kumasi, Ntow Fianko, said there is no rationale in relying on someone who failed awfully in his 13-years as an administrator.

"If you say, you want intellectuals and men with integrity for such a work and your mindset of operations are a such, then where lies the work you doing? One can only draw a simple conclusion, from afar it's very simple".

"Since they ascertained the office they've done nothing. It’s a disgrace to them as a committee to seek ideas from Kwasi Nyantakyi for operations, there is absolutely nothing they can offer us as a country so far as football is concern", he stated.

"If someone can fail in his 13-years of administrating and you still rely on him for advice then where lies the sense in running day-to-day activities of the FA and taking big sum of salaries"."There is no sense in seeking Kwasi Nyantakyi's advice to run the affairs of the FA.Best is to bring Nyantakyi back to the seat and walk away, simple", he told Otec FM in the interview.

In his conclusion, he  stated emphatically that the Committee have restricted to doing shoddy work following their inability to form Disciplinary Committee, Appeals Committee and Statues Committee.

"There is no Disciplinary Committee and Appeals Committee to take a discipline look at incidence such as fight". No Statues committee as well, so what at all are they doing"?, he quizzed.
