Former Ghana international Emmanuel Agyeman Badu believes that Laryea Kingston is the only person who can explain why he resigned as the coach of the Black Starlets.

Kingston, who is also a former Ghana international, announced his resignation after the Black Starlets were beaten 2-1 by Burkina Faso in the ongoing WAFU B U-17 tournament, which is being hosted by Ghana.

Speaking in an interview with Peace FM monitored by Footballghana.com, Agyeman Badu said that there were a lot of emotions and other things in Kingston's post-match interview, and that it was important to listen to the interview again and not to jump to conclusions.

"If you look at the interview there are a lot of things in it emotions and other things when you go deep you might end up saying a different thing and commit a mistake. Unless he himself knows we all know Laryea the passion he has for the nation throughout his career and he went to build himself through coach and the FA had faith in him and gave him the team and how he was building the team," he said.

"I went to do scouting work with him in Volta Region the kind of brains he has this is what pains me losing him at this stage whether he has taken the European lifestyle that I couldn't win the cup and I will stand by my words and resign or you sit down and listen to the interview again some of the words used was sensitive," he added.
