Midfielder Latif Anabila staying positive to the possibility that Otumfuo eases the transfer ban on Asante Kotoko to allow his move from Ashanti Gold SC.

The hardworking midfielder is a player wanted by Coach Maxwell Konadu to augment his squad as he targets clinching the Ghana Premier League at least next season.

The dream of signing the highly-rated midfielder has been massively hit following a direction from His Royal Majesty that Asante Kotoko is not to sign a player for the next year.

Reacting to the news, Latif Anabila has shared that the ban will not have any effect on him. According to him, it will rather push him to perform better to keep the interest from Kotoko alive.

“The transfer ban by Otumfour on the club will not have a negative impact on me but will rather be a motivating factor to do more for Kotoko to keep the faith in me.

“Thinking about it might affect my performance. I have to rather work hard to earn the recognition from Kotoko after the ban”, the midfielder told Kumasi FM.

He added, “However, we all don’t know what may happen tomorrow, Otumfour can rescind his decision to make the move possible. I have to look forward but not backwards. I will train very hard and wait for what happens in the future”.
