AC Milan look to have been drawn in the more favourable Europa League group compared to their Serie A rivals Lazio, with the Biancocelesti set to face last season’s runners-up.

French side Marseille were dispatched comfortably 3-0 by Atletico Madrid in the Europa League final last season and will be expected to qualify ahead of Lazio in their group.

Eintracht Frankfurt join Lazio and Marseille in Group H, boasting a host of talented players including ex-Napoli midfielder Jonathan De Guzman and former Fiorentina forward Ante Rebic.

Apollon Limassol complete the group following an impressive route to this stage of the competition, outlasting FC Basel in a thrilling 3-3 aggregate victory where the away goals rule saw them over the line.

Milan will face perhaps their biggest test in the form of Spanish side Real Betis, who soared to sixth in La Liga last campaign with the help of former Fiorentina wingers Cristian Tello and Joaquin.

Greek side Olympiacos find themselves in Group F after defeating Burnley over the two legs and have former Serie A players in Vasilis Torosidis, Giannis Fetfatzidis, Marko Marin and Lazaros Christodoulopoulos.

The final team in Milan’s group is Luxembourg side F91 Dudelange, who can call upon experienced former Lazio defender Milan Bisevac in their bid to reach the knockout stage.
