English Championship side, Leeds United have failed in their attempt to sign Ghana international Joseph Paintsil.

The Black Stars attacker is currently on the transfer list of a number of clubs in Europe after establishing himself as a star in the Belgian Pro League.

Last week, his club KRC Genk was approached by Leeds United over a possible move.

Today, sources have confirmed that Joseph Paintsil’s potential move to Leeds United have collapsed.

This is because Genk are not convinced by the offer made by the English Championship side.

Meanwhile, the agents of the player are also unhappy over the personal terms offered to the player resulting in the decision to pull out.

It is understood that Joseph Paintsil could still end up moving to England this summer.

Reports indicate that another English Club has expressed interest in signing the talented attacker.
