Leeroy Owusu provided his third assist in a row for Willem II in their 1-0 win against Dordrecht on Friday evening at the Koning Willem II Stadion.
From the first minute, Willem II made it clear that there was little to be gained for FC Dordrecht. Willem II was combative and played with intensity.
After it rained opportunities for the Tricolores, a shot from Leeroy Owusu, who played strongly again, was cleared by goalkeeper Liam Bossin.
Shortly afterward, Ringo Meerveld was close to his first Tilburg goal, but his shot from a distance was saved with difficulty.
Pol Llonch and Jizz Hornkamp also failed to score. Willem II went into the break somewhat disappointingly with a 0-0 score.
Fifteen minutes before the end, Willem II's constant attack paid off. Owusu crossed from the right flank, after which Kabangu headed in from the underside of the crossbar to make it 1-0.
