Legon Cities FC mourn the passing of GFA Director of Competitions Mark Addo

Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities FC have reacted to the passing of football administrator, Mark Addo.

On Monday, January 9, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced that its director of competitions has passed on.

“It's with immense sadness that we announce the sudden death of our Director of Competitions Mark Addo.

“Everybody associated with GFA is shocked and saddened to learn of his death earlier today.

“All our thoughts are with his wife, children and his family at this sad time,” the Ghana FA statement said.

Reacting to the news, Legon Cities FC says the club is saddened and wishes the deceased a peaceful rest.

“Legon Cities FC is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the Director of Competitions at the GFA, Mark Addo.

“All of us wishes to express our sincere condolences to the family of Mark.

His dedication & service has been exemplary & we will never forget that.

“RIP, Mark,” a short statement by the Ghana Premier League club said.
