The head coach for Legon Cities FC, Bashir Hayford has indicated that fans will see goals in the game against Hearts of Oak on Thursday evening.
Nicknamed the Royals, the team has significantly improved in the last few months and as a result, looks set to beat relegation.
Currently sitting 9th on the Ghana Premier League standings, Legon Cities FC are pushing to climb higher.
Ahead of their tough meeting with Hearts of Oak today, head coach Bashir Hayford says he anticipates there will be goals but hopes his side keeps a clean sheet.
“We are happy to create chances in every game that we play and score goals as well. That alone is a good thing. In the game against Hearts of Oak on Thursday, we are going to see goals in it.
“I am happy when we score goals but sad when we concede. I hope we don’t concede on Thursday but rather score more,” the former Ashgold SC gaffer said at a press conference on Tuesday.
Today’s big game against Hearts of Oak will kick off at 18:00GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
