English Premier League side, Leicester City are in talks with Sporting CP to secure the permanent signing of Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, 19, joined Leicester City on a season-long loan deal from the Portuguese giants in 2023.

Since arriving in England, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has significantly improved his game and is regarded as one of the top wingers in the English Championship.

Impressed by the performance of the Black Stars player, Leicester City have decided to tie the player down.

Already, sources have indicated that Leicester City are in advanced talks with Sporting CP to agree on a fee for the permanent transfer of the player.

Although there is a release clause of €60 million in the loan contract, both parties are close to agreeing on a €17 million fee due to certain conditions being met.

Leicester City want to finalise the deal in the coming weeks before making the move official in the summer transfer window.
