Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers was unhappy with Daniel Amartey’s defending in their 2-1 defeat to 10-man Chelsea last weekend in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old was at fault for Raheem Sterling’s opener after failing to close down the Chelsea star quickly enough, the shot taking a nick off his toe before looping over Danny Ward.
Amartey has started all four of the Foxes' Premier League games this season, partnering Jonny Evans.
“If you look at the first goal, it’s the third goal in four games from outside the box. You have to press the ball there, you can’t be letting players take a free shot. It takes a deflection, but you have to be really aggressive in those moments to get up and stop the ball," Rodgers told BBC Radio Leicester.
"We had it against Brentford as well, we had it against Arsenal. You can’t sink back into the box, you’ve got to be up and you’ve got to be brave, and sometimes you have to take that block. In certain moments in the game, we just have to have more desire to stop the ball going in the net."
