Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers speaks highly of Daniel Amartey ahead of Watford game

Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers was full of praise for Daniel Amartey during his pre-match press conference ahead of the clash against Watford on Sunday.

The Foxes will later today play against the Yellow and Black outfit in a matchday 13 encounter of the 2021/2022 English Premier League season.

Asked about the performance of Ghana’s Daniel Amartey in the last game against Polish side Legia Warsaw, Brendan Rogers said he was excellent.

“He’s fast, he can pass the balls. He was excellent. I thought both centre-halves were very good. I thought Daniel coming in at late notice, I just felt he could step into the game. He’s played games so he’s up to speed, and I thought he was excellent in the two,” the Leicester City manager said.

Ahead of today’s game against Watford, Daniel Amartey is likely to start after his continuous top performances for the team.

The game between Leicester City and Watford will kick off at the King Power Stadium at 14:00GMT.
