The Phobians have succeeded in negotiating a contract renewal with the influential player who was tipped to leave the club last season.
Tawiah upon renewing his contract today will join the team for their preseason training ahead of the start of the new season.
Leonard Tawiah was one of the key players for Hearts in last season's Ghana Premier League.
