The Ghanaian-born World Cup winner believes the country has a lot of good footballers, whose talents get wasted in their quest for greener pastures abroad.

Desailly, who has been linked to the Black Stars coaching job on a number of ocassions, is worried about poor structures which constantly forces players on a premature exit from the local topflight.

In an exclusive interview with footballghana.com, Desailly called on clubs to keep their players in order to bring their expertise on board.

"We have a lot of talent. We need to structure a little bit more our league to be able to keep them. Unfortunately, too many go away from the country just because of the big money the clubs are giving them and they are not able to play. It's a shame we lose a lot of them"
