Let’s play a fair game and see who will win, says Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu after Kotoko defeat

The head coach of Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has raised concern over the penalty awarded to Asante Kotoko during his team’s defeat on Sunday afternoon.

The young tactician was in the dugout today when the Phobians played as guests to the Porcupine Warriors at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

In the 16th minute, a penalty kick was awarded to Asante Kotoko in controversial circumstances.

Although Coach Samuel Boadu is unsure whether it was a clear penalty, the Hearts of Oak gaffer says the team wouldn’t have lost if there was fair officiating.

“I would have to watch the replay to see the penalty incident well, but such a big game if you take such decisions it becomes a bit difficult for us. Let’s play fair game and see who wins, because we all want to entertain the fans too,” Coach Samuel Boadu said in his post-match interview.

The penalty awarded to Kotoko was scored by Frank Mbella Etouga as the reds held on to amass maximum points at full time.
