Anthony Baffoe, the Secretary General of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana, is urging fans to rally behind the Black Meteors as they prepare to face Algeria in a 2023 U-23 AFCON qualifier on tonight.

The game will kick off at 9 pm in Algeria.

Baffoe has called on supporters to back the team in the same fervent manner they did for the Black Stars in their 1-0 win against Angola on Thursday in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

In a tweet, Baffoe offered congratulations to the Black Stars on their triumph over Angola and encouraged fans to throw their weight behind the Black Meteors as they take on Algeria.

He remarked, "congratulations to the Black Stars for yesterday’s victory against Angola - let’s all support our Black Meteors tonight vs Algeria - Good luck guys."

The Black Meteors will look to secure a positive result away in the North African country and wrap up qualification for the Olympics qualifying tournament.
