Libyan club Al Suqur secures the services of Ghanaian midfielder Solomon Mensah

Libyan top-flight club Al Suqur Sporting Club have secured the signing of Ghanaian international Solomon Mensah.

The club in the past weekend stepped up their pursuit to sign the experienced Ghanaian midfielder.

Thankfully, the club managed to reach a deal with the player and his representatives in the last 48 hours.

With the necessary medical examination done and the documents signed, Al Suqur SC announced the signing of the 31-year-old midfielder on Wednesday.

Solomon Mensah who is elated with the move signed a short-term contract with the Libyan top-flight club and is keen on getting started.

His one-year contract will come to an end when the 2023-24 football season in Libya ends.

In the past, Solomon Mensah who played for Ghana Premier League side Bechem United during his time in Ghana also played for several clubs abroad including Iraqi side Naft Missan, Petrojet SC in Egypt, Aswan SC, and Lebanese club Shabab Al Sahel.

He has gained experience over the years and is expected to bring it to bear at his new club to help the team.
