Apparently not interested in parting ways from Barcelona FC, in spite of his current backup status, French international centre-back Clement Lenglet, turning 26 on June 17, has allegedly turned down AS Roma signing offer, with José Mourinho pushing towards bringing him in.

Playing for Blaugrana since 2018/19, former Sevilla FC backliner, a Nancy-Lorraine alumni, is still on a deal with Spanish giants until June 2026. Previously inquired about by both Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, Lenglet, now embarking on Euro 2020 campaign, has so far capped 133 times for Barça overall, scoring seven goals therein, and winning three trophies (most important of all 2018/19 La Liga national title).
