Troyes issued a statement this afternoon in support of striker Hyun-Jun Suk, who was the target of racial remarks during Sunday night's encounter against Marseille.

According to RMC Sport, the statements were caught up by Amazon Prime's microphones near the OM bench, despite the game being played behind closed doors.

"The samurai's cut him down twice," one voice says after a late tackle by the forward on Pape Gueye, before adding, "he's going to prepare some sushi."

The incident will be investigated by the LFP's disciplinary body, according to RMC Sport. On his return from Paris on Friday, Marseille president Pablo Longoria called to his opposite number Aymeric Magne to apologize on behalf of the club, and would inquire into who made the statements.
