Live Stream: Christian Atsu's final funeral rites at State House

Footballghana.com brings you the live stream of the final funeral rites of late Black Stars winger Christian Atsu.

The ceremony is been held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra. His one week observation was held on March 4th at the Adjiringanor Astro Turf.

Christian Atsu was found dead on Saturday, January 18, 2023 under the rubble in his home in southern Turkey following the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on Monday, February 6, 2023.

The remains of Christian Atsu arrived in Accra on Sunday night 7:40 p.m. 19 February 2023. The remains were received at the Kotoka International Airport by the family, the Ghana Football Association (GFA), and the Government.

Atsu played 65 times for Ghana and helped the Black Stars reach the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations final in Equatorial Guinea.

The 31-year-old also played for Premier League sides Everton FC, AFC Bournemouth, and Newcastle United.

He left behind his wife Marie Rupio and three children.
