The Black Stars face Niger on Monday in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Berkane Municipal Stadium in Morocco. This match marks their second in the qualifying series following last week's defeat.

In Otto Addo’s starting lineup, Majeed Ashimeru replaces Elisha Owusu in midfield, and Inaki Williams takes over from Jordan Ayew. The rest of the team remains unchanged from the loss against Angola.

The backline stays the same, with Tariq Lamptey and Alidu Seidu as full backs, and Salisu Mohammed partnering with Abdul Mumin in central defense. Captain Thomas Partey will lead the midfield alongside Majeed Ashimeru and Mohammed Kudus, while Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, and Inaki Williams will form the front three.

The Black Stars fell 1-0 to Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on September 5, 2024, in their opening qualifier. Niger also suffered a 1-0 defeat to Sudan at the Juba Stadium in South Sudan on Wednesday.
