This is the team’s third international fixture under head coach, Nora Hauptle following a 3-0 win against Benin in March this year and a 3-0 win against Senegal on Saturday courtesy of a brace from Gifty Assifuah and a goal by Grace Asantewaa.
The friendly game against Senegal will be used as part of preparations for the 2023 WAFU B Cup of Nations and the African Women Cup of Nations 2024 qualifiers.
Nora Hauptle has named McCarthy Kerrie in goal for the match against Senegal as four changes have been made to the team for the second leg on Tuesday.
McCarthy Kerrie replaces Cynthia Konlan, Anasthesia Achiaa comes into the squad for Adama Alhassan while Patience Peterson and Azumah Bugre start for the Black Queens.
