Live Updates: Kotoko 2-1 Hearts [President cup replay]

Ghana Premier League giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak are currently in action at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the replay of the 2019 President Cup. 

Managers for both teams have presented a good starting lineup as they hope to get the win to give their teams a confidence booster ahead of the commencement of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

20 minutes into the first half, neither side has been able to get on the scoresheet. Kotoko, however, has been the better side after threatening the defensive set up of the Phobians on a couple of occasions.

And it's the Phobians who draw the first blood. Kofi Kordzi scores from the penalty spot, beating Kotoko goalkeeper Kwame Baah.

The game has restarted with Kotoko looking to draw level before the first half break.

Dangerman Sogne Yacouba is presented with a good goalscoring opportunity but his effort is well blocked by defender William Denkyi.

Hearts of Oak concedes an own in injury time as Kotoko draws level.

It is halftime here at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The two teams will be back in 15 minutes time for the second half.

Second half underway with Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak trying to take the lead. Striker Kofi Kordzi continues to be a thorn in the flesh of the defense of the Reds but is lacking the finishing touch to get his second goal of the day.

Coach Kim Grant makes three changes with Charles MacCarthy, Emmanuel Mintah, and Obeng Junior on for Aminu Alhassan, Mitchelle Sarpong and Manaf Umar.

Coach Maxwell Konadu also make his first substitution for Asante Kotoko as Collins Ameyaw makes way for Naby Keira.

And it is a goal...Substitute Naby Keita scores to give Kotoko the lead for the first time in the match.

Maxwell Konadu has made two quick changes replacing Patrick Yeboah with Imoro Ibrahim and Songne Yacouba for Kelvin Andoh.

Kelvin Andoh is shown the yellow card for a foul on William Denkyi.

Mathew Cudjoe has replaced Augustine Okrah in the 83rd minute.

Robert Sowah has been sent off for a tackle on Matthew Cudjoe. This was his second yellow card of the day. Hearts Of Oak will end the game with a man less (2-1).
