Liverpool boss Klopp pleads with Kop: You\'re killing our confidence

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is pleading with fans to get behind his young team.

Klopp fears the Kop still hasn't fully embraced his team this season.

“The problem is here, the moment things don't work out, we get compared with the past," he said. “They wreck the confidence of the players when they say things like, 'You are not good enough'.

"It's a problem."

The Reds were booed off at halftime of their victory over Huddersfield.

Even Huddersfield boss David Wagner noticed the tension.

“I've been here often in the last three years," said Wagner, “but I have never heard Anfield so quiet."
