The Reds made it four wins in succession on Saturday by recording a 3-0 win over Southampton through a brace from Mohamed Salah as well as a goal from Philippe Coutinho.

Following the game, Henderson said: "Sometimes it's difficult to get that momentum going again, especially when lads are away for a long period of time.

"But everybody's in the same boat so it doesn't really count for much. I thought we were brilliant today from start to finish, like I said, but there's still a lot of work to be done.

"It's a good start coming back from internationals and hopefully we can keep it going with another big game in midweek."

Jurgen Klopp's side take on Sevilla on Wednesday night before hosting Chelsea at Anfield on Saturday.
