Liverpool U18 coach Steven Gerrard insists manager Jurgen Klopp will make "big signings" this month.
The Reds have so far added Andy Robertson, Dominic Solanke and Mohamed Salah to their ranks this summer, but have been left frustrated in their attempts to land Naby Keita and Virgil van Dijk.
Gerrard thinks Klopp will still have plenty of business to conclude before the transfer window shuts on August 31.
He told BT Sport: "There is still time, three weeks to go.
"Last year, against the top six they were excellent and had a very good record.
"In pre-season, they have looked very strong and with three weeks to go in the window, I wouldn't be surprised if Jurgen has got a couple of cards up his sleeve.
"He might bring a couple of big signings in."
