Liverpool fans are getting pretty excited afterhaving seen Steven Gerrard's latest Instagram post, which suggests that he will be leaving MLS Club LA Galaxy.
The former England International notched 710 appearances for the Reds during a 17-year career, but moved to the US after it was made clear to him that his playing time would be limited under Brendan Rodgers.
It certainly seems that his time with the Los Angeles-based side is coming to an end. He has been saying that he could retire in the next few months, and with this Instagram post, it should no longer come as a surprise if he does leave.
The caption read:"Living in Los Angeles and playing for the great Galaxy supporters has been a privilege. You have made this place feel like home to me. This city and this club will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you #8."
Reds fans would certainly love to have him back at Anfield, and they are already calling for the midfielder's return.
