The hilarious Southampton-Liverpool transfer relationship might be set to continue, as a cryptic Dejan Lovren comment on Instagram might be seen as a sign that Jose Fonte is about to join the Reds.
The Saints have sold Nathaniel Clyne, Adam Lallana, Sadio Mané, Dejan Lovren and Ricky Lambert to Liverpool already, but the Reds may not be content to leave it there. Rumours had linked Virgil van Dijk with the move, but perhaps his centre-back partner will be the one to toddle off to Anfieldinstead.

Liverpool squeezed past Merseyside rivals Everton with a Sadio Mané winner deep into stoppage time at the end of the game on Monday, and were quickly given a hint to more good news with this Instagram exchange between defender Dejan Lovren and Jose Fonte.
Fonte recently pointed out that he has not been offered a new deal by Southampton, so Lovren's words could get some tongues wagging. Centre-back has been a concern for Liverpool, with Joel Matip the only highly-rated presence (and he is not among the Premier League's best).
Some are not so sure that Lovren is actually talking about a transfer; Liverpool and Southampton clash in the EFL Cup semi-final on January 11, so the defenders would see each other there.
