Liverpool flop Danny Wilson says he doesn't regret leaving his boyhood club Rangers for the Reds in 2010.

The Scottish centre-back spent a disappointing three-year spell with the Merseysiders before joining Hearts. The 25-year-old eventually ended up at Rangers in 2015.

When asked about the move, Wilson said: "Would I change it? No.

"I still would have gone to Liverpool at that time because at that time Rangers were probably looking at selling me.

"I had a year left on my contract and with the money they got for me, they bought [Nikica] Jelavic.

"It was good for both parties that we moved on."
