According to Marca, the Reds lodged an offer of €100m after their first bid of €75m was rejected at start of the month.
However, the principality club is determined to get more than the €114m that Manchester United paid for Paul Pogba last summer.

The fee may not be the only problem however, with Marca also suggesting that the 18-year old only wants to join Real Madrid.
