For all his attacking talent, the Spaniard has proved to be a liability defensively since his arrival at Liverpool, and has started just twice in the Premier League this season.
James Milner has been used in his place, a testament to his versatility but also a concern that Jurgen Klopp has felt the need to resort to - playing a midfielder at left-back.
Moreno's days at Liverpool seem numbered, but it doesn't appear that he's overly concerned, taking to Instagram to show off three new animal tattoos.
Not that they're your bog standard animal tattoos. The artwork is commendable, although the decision to permanently carry around a monocle wearing panda is questionable. Each to their own, though.
These aren't the first individualistic tattoos Moreno has acquired, however. Last year he had a suited up monkey holding a gun added to his leg.
Liverpool fans will be hoping he can start picking up more starts than animal tattoos over the coming weeks.
