Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard says Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez would be ideal for Everton.

Gerrard was speaking after Liverpool's 2-0 win on Saturday.
He said, "He'd be good for them. Would I like to see it? No. Because when you have served Liverpool as Rafa has, I don't think you should go across the park and work for Everton.
"But if you asked me if he would be a good appointment I'd say yes.

"They're in a better position as a club than Newcastle. They're steady at the top and they're spending, which is what Rafa is complaining about."
