Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed his bafflement at the transfer of Barcelona star Neymar to Paris Saint Germain.

The Catalan club have stated that Neymar has asked to leave the club, with PSG now set to trigger his £198m release clause.

"I thought FFP was made so things like that couldn't happen. I don't know how that happens," said Klopp.

Klopp was making reference to the Financial Fair Play laws, which were implemented to stop teams from spending more money than they earn.

The Brazilian is set to make €30m a year after tax with his new club.
