Liverpool are interested in bringing exciting Fulham forward Moussa Dembele to Anfield, according to theFulham Chronicle.

The 19-year-old enjoyed a successful campaign on an individual level, with his 17 goals in all competitions helping to keep Fulham afloat in a disappointing Championship season.

The West London side finished the season two places above the relegation zone, with Dembele's goals along with Ross McCormack's contribution ensuring that the Cottagers kept their status as a Championship side.

His ability to score goals in a struggling side has alerted teams throughout the Premier League of his talent, with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool taking a keen interest in the Frenchman.

Klopp's front line faltered throughout the 2015-16 Premier League season, scoring just 24 goals between them.

Injuries have plagued the Liverpool strike force;the talented Daniel Sturridge has struggled throughout the season, whilst Danny Ings picked up an injury early in the season that ruled him out of the campaign.

Meanwhile, the £32m manChristian Benteke has not been able to have the desired impact following his big money move from Aston Villa, whilst the youngDivock Origi is still finding his feet in the division.

Reports have suggested that the experienced Christian Benteke could be on his way out of Anfield after just a single season, with Klopp expected to reinvigorate his front line.

Dembele is rumoured to be one of the German's transfer targets, however, he will have to fend off interest from a hostother Premier League sides.

Chelsea, Everton, and Tottenham - who already have one Moussa Dembele on their books - are allreported to bemonitoring the progress of the forward.
