Liverpool have stepped up their interest in signing Fiorentina winger Federico Cheese, sending scouts to watch him live in action on Monday night against Torino.

In that Monday night encounter, scouts watched Chiesa entertain the fans at theStadio Artemio Franchi. Fiorentina ended up with adisappointingpoint as they drew 2-2,havingled 2-0 at half time.
But the young Italian winger was not one of those who disappointed. He has become a fixture in the first team squad, having graduated from the academy last summer.

He has made 26 appearances in allcompetitions so far, during which time he has scored four goals and four assists. His great speed and energy has attracted attention from across Europe, but it is believed that Liverpool are currently leading the pack to sign him.
Currently, Chiesa is contracted to Fiorentina until 2021 and do not expect the Italian side to let him go without a fight.
