The FC crew discuss where Liverpool fell short at the Stadio San Paolo, taking aim at their inability to adapt to Napoli's potent attack in the second half.

ESPN FC's Steve Nicol explains why Napoli were deserving of their late victory, despite Liverpool's best efforts to hold on for a draw.

NAPLES, Italy -- Liverpool have refused to rule Naby Keita out of their game against Manchester City on Sunday even though he was taken to hospital after injuring his back in the 1-0 defeat against Napoli on Wednesday, sources have told ESPN FC.

Keita complained of serious back pain to Liverpool's medical staff when he went down injured 19 minutes into the Champions League defeat and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Injured in a challenge with Lorenzo Insigne, Keita had to be taken off the pitch on a stretcher but was scheduled to return to Liverpool on the team flight on Thursday as preparations then begin for the game against City.

Keita, who was replaced by Jordan Henderson at the Stadio San Paolo, has made nine appearances with six starts for Liverpool after arriving from RB Leipzig in the summer.
