Hertha got this six-goal thriller off to a quick start with a goal, from Vedad Ibisevic, only 21 seconds in.

Wolfsburg then had two VAR decisions go against them, and those contentious goals being disallowed; followed by a missed penalty by Gomez.

Wolfsburg were eventually able to equalise in the 41st minute through Yunus Malli, before taking the lead shortly after, in the 44th minute, through Gomez.

Hertha soon got on level terms after halftime, with former Manchester City defender Karim Rekik scoring in the 53rd minute.

22-year-old Origi was the next name on the scoresheet, regaining the lead for Wolfsburg in the 60th minute, before being substituted in the 82nd minute.

Hertha were not done yet though, and managed to win a point from the match through Davie Selke's late goal in the 83rd minute.
