Heart of Midlothian took the lead in the 34th minute through Esmael Gonçalves.

Shortly afterwards in the 36th minute, Randall failed to clear his lines at the back post. He produced an air swing, which allowed Davis Keillor-Dunn to equalise for Ross County.

Randall went on to make amends in the 59th minute, when he released Jamie Walker with a nice pass, for Walker's first goal of the season and the lead again.

Only 6 minutes later Randall found himself being shown a second yellow for a rough tackle. This was Randall's first ever professional red card, and meant Heart of Midlothian had to play with 10 men for the next 25 minutes.
