LOAN WATCH: Tottenham defender Ogilvie assists in Gillingham win

Published on: 06 November 2017

21-year-old Connor Ogilvie, who is on loan from Tottenham this season, has helped Gillingham to a first-round win in the FA cup against non-league opposition, Leyton Orient.

Gillingham, who dominated the first half, reaped the rewards in the 19th minute through a Josh Parker header.

The Gills then went searching for a second goal, which they found in the second half, through an Ogilvie assist.

Connor Ogilvie fired a long ball into the box, which Tom Eaves was able to connect with and send flying into the goal.

This goal proved to be the decisive goal, as even though Leyton Orient began a comeback late in the game, with a 79th minute goal from a low free kick, it wasn't enough.
