Ghana women’s national team forward, Doris Boaduwaa is confident that the team will progress to the next round of the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games.
The Black Queens on Friday lost 1-0 to Zambia at the Accra Sports Stadium in what was dubbed the battle of the Queens.
Ahead of the reverse fixture in Zambia, Black Queens forward Doris Boaduwaa says the defeat to the Copper Queens will fuel Ghana to fight to bounce back.
“Defeat is temporary, but the bond with our fans is forever. We may have fallen short in the game, but your unwavering support never wavered. Thank you for standing by us through thick and thin, cheering us on with passion and belief. We'll use this loss as fuel to come back stronger and make you proud. Together, we'll conquer the next challenge,” Doris Boaduwaa said in a post on X.
The reverse fixture of the tie between Ghana and Zambia in the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games will be played on Wednesday, February 28.
