Enrique then admitted it had been far from easy despite the flattering scoreline: There's never an easy game against Athletic, regardless of the result. Whether it's at San Mamés or Camp Nou, when they have the ball they make us run, they are a tough team.

We created enough chances to win the game, even though the scoreline is perhaps a little excessive given how much trouble they gave us. But we showed a great attitude and personality even though the pressure they put us under was oppressive.

The Barça boss was also delighted PacoAlcácer managed to bag his first goal in the league for the club. I am delighted for Alcácer; he is always looking to get better. He took his goal well, it was a great finish and it will be great for him and the team."

On the subject of injuries during the game, Enrique hopes Gerard Pique and Rafinha won't have to miss any upcoming matches:

In theory, Piqué has a slight strain but we did not want to risk him andRafinha has a nasty cut. I hope the two won't be out but we will see how they get in the coming training sessions.
