Former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is determined to sit out the season before returning to management.

Enrique, who walked away from the Barca job in June, has set himself a year to recharge the batteries before seeking his next job.

Sport says he hasn't disconnected from football and is actively studying the season and the situations of certain clubs.

Just yesterday in the Spanish media, it was suggested intermediaries for Chelsea and Arsenal had been in contact with Enrique, though the message remains he wants to give himself a year out of the game before returning.

A move to the Premier League, however, is favoured by Enrique after working in Italy and Spain so far in his coaching career.
