Luis Suarez is confident Uruguay can control the threat of France's teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe when the two countries meet in the World Cup quarter-finals on Friday.
Uruguay have already beaten European opposition twice at the World Cup, conceding just one goal in the process, and Suarez believes their defence has more than enough to deal with the 19-year old.
"Everybody knows he's (Mbappe) a really good player, but I think we have a really good defence to control him," said the Barcelona striker.
Mbappe starred in France's 4-3 victory over Argentina, scoring two and winning a penalty, as he showed just how dangerous his pace can be.
Suarez thinks there are more threats from France than just Mbappe, picking out Antoine Griezmann, who he said had a "brilliant left foot".
Mbappe and Griezmann have also been singled out by Uruguay head coach Oscar Tabarez but he suggested they would not get the same space afforded to them by the Argentine team.
Suarez's strike partner Edinson Cavani was Uruguay's main man in their 2-1 win over Portugal in the last 16. The Paris Saint-Germain forward was forced off with a calf injury in that game and Suarez has admitted that the team will have to "wait and see" if he will be ready for Friday's match.
