Lukaku asks Man Utd fans to stop chant

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has asked the clubs fans to stop signing a chant about him which has been deemed racist by 'Kick It Out'.

The Belgian has already became a favourite of the Old Trafford faithful, in large part to his six goals in as many games.

Lukaku already has a number of chants about him, but one in particular, which is sung to the tune of Stone Roses' Made of Stone, references his manhood, and the 24-year-old has now asked fans to stop.

The club's twitter page posted: "Great backing since I joined #MUFC. "Fans have meant well with their songs but let's move on together. #RespectEachOther"
