Lyon Star Corentin Tolisso 'Dreams' of Playing in the Premier League for Arsenal

Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso has spoken of his dream of one day plying his trade in the Premier League, and ofmoving to a club like Arsenal.


Speaking toFrance Football, theUnder-21s discusseda potential move to England, after attracting attention from elite clubsacross Europe. When questioned about his future, he went on to say: "Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal."


He went on to admit his admiration for the Premier League by adding:"I love the Premier League and I think I have the profile. This is the championship that also offers more competition, which is the most open, the most contested and most spectacular."

The 22-year-old, now in his third season for the French side, is one of theirmany players said to bemonitoredby sides across Europe.StrikerAlexandre Lacazette is another player who has attracted attention due to his amazing strike rate for the side whocurrentlysit fifth in Ligue 1.


If Arsenal did opt to sign the midfielder, they would be signing aversatile player, havingplayed in both full-back positions whilst comingthroughthe ranks at Lyon.


Since converting to hispreferredmidfield role, Tolisso has featured 92 times for the club, scoring 16 goals along the way, and has become a regular in an impressive side looking to replicatetheirfine finish to last season, which saw them finish in 2nd place.


Though he is yet tofeature for the French national team, he has made 17 appearances for the U21 side, scoring five goals since his debut in 2014.
