Majeed Ashimeru assist two goals in Salzburg’s 7-1 thrashing of Hartberg

Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru climbed off the bench to provide 2 assists for Red Bull Salzburg during the team’s 7-1 win against TSV Hartberg in the Austrian Bundesliga.

The former West Africa Football Academy captain has over the years established himself as an integral part of the Austrian giant team.

In a Matchday 4 encounter played at the Red Bull Arena on Sunday afternoon, Majeed Ashimeru missed out on a starting role but was introduced on the 78th minute to replace Enock Mwepu.

Just a minute after his introduction, the midfielder assisted Patson Daka for his second goal of the game to complete his brace.

Later in added time, Majeed Ashimeru also assisted Sekou Koita to score as Red Bull Salzburg wrapped up a big win.

On the matchday, a goal from Jerome Onguene, Albert Vallci, Noah Okafor and a brace each from Sekou Koita and Patson Daka sealed the 7-1 win for Red Bull Salzburg with Stefan Rakowitz netting the consolation goal for TSV Hartberg.
